Spring Reminder - Newsletter
Date: March 21, 2024
With the spring season quickly approaching, we would like to share a few kind reminders and updates to ensure a pleasant and thriving community for all owners.
1. General Spring-Cleaning Tips and Lawn Maintenance: a. Start by raking up any leaves or debris that have accumulated over the winter. This will help your lawn to breathe and promote new growth.
b. Once your flower bed is clear, apply a layer of fresh mulch. This will help to keep the soil moist and protect the roots of your plants.
c. Next, it’s time to fertilize your lawn. A good rule of thumb is to apply 1 pound of fertilizer per 1000 square feet of lawn.
d. Weed Control: https://www.thebiggreenk.com/blog/spring-weed-control-7-tips-tricks-for-a-healthy-lawn/
e. Remember to maintain/service the area between the sidewalk and curb in front of your home.
A well-maintained community enhances everyone's living experience, fostering a sense of pride in our shared spaces. Reminder, an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) Application and Approval is required prior to any exterior modification. ACC Applications may be found online on your Association website.
2. Water Conservation During Rainy Season: a. While appreciating the benefits of the rainy season, please be mindful of water conservation. Adjust irrigation systems to align with natural rainfall, contributing to the collective effort to preserve our water resources. Regular preventative maintenance may be necessary on your irrigation system, please check with your lawn care provider to perform system checks &/or repairs on your system and rain & freeze sensors for optimum water conservation efforts.
3. Responsible Pet Ownership – Cleaning Up After Your Pets: a. As you enjoy the outdoors, please be responsible pet owners and pick up any droppings left by your pets. Keeping our neighborhoods clean is a shared responsibility that contributes to a pleasant living environment for everyone.
